Bistro Moncur at the Woollahra Hotel has long been a firm fine dining favourite and now it is joined by a less upmarket sibling. Taking the edge off the serious dining experience of the downstairs bistro, Moncur Terrace fosters a fun and casual atmosphere. Chef Damien Pignolet keeps the menu exciting with new specials each day, while holding onto staples such as the wagyu beef burger, sandwiches and pizza. The stylish terrace that has earned the venue its name makes for ideal outdoor eating. Sleek and modern, it is decked out with stainless steel furniture, a retractable awning and trellises scaling down its high walls. An impressive 10-metre bar runs along the inside, while the wine list is almost as long.

Moncur Terrace
A local favourite of mine. Love this place. A good combination if you find the two downstairs options too formal (Bistro Moncur) or informal (Woollahra Hotel). The food quality is excellent as you'd expect from the Bistro kitchen and service for the most part is very good. Typically pretentious Woollahra crowd but still a good place for some nice wine or a couple of beers to wash down your wagyu burger.
