Though Mino is not much to look at from the outside, inside it's serving up some pretty special Japanese food in a sleek, naturally hued space. Fish and seafood features strongly on the menu (as you'd expect at a Japanese restaurant), but there are also meat dishes such as shabu shabu pork available that are going to make everybody happy. Don't skip desserts, such as the the black sesame pudding. Better yet, go the whole hog and try the kaiseki-style set menu - a series of generous 'tastes' from hearty crabmeat soup or a lighter sashimi selection, to the full range of desserts in a neat little box.
