Minh is a cut above your average Vietnamese restaurant (and well priced too). It's got an interesting, if short, menu that's bound to have you planning your next visit. Stand out dishes include the chicken, prawn and cabbage salad and the gorgeous rice noodles in coconut dressing with pork, lettuce, mint and peanuts. The wine list is short and basic so just order a 'ba ba ba' (that's a 333 beer).

not so good
i have been going to minhs for over 13 years. And the restaurant is now tired, it still has a great atmosphere. the service is good. But the food is not that great anymore. Keep trying it , but come away thinking they use to be better. COme on mum sort it out.

Amazing food
I've been known to rave about Minh to strangers at some length. I dispute the ramblings of Liliflower above and assert that the service is generally always terrific, friendly and very attentive. For example, usually if I get take out, I am shown to a chair and give prawn crackers to munch on while I am waiting. One of the victims of my raving is of Vietnamese background herself, and she previously expressed some doubt about my claims of one of the best meals in Sydney. After a beef curry with coconut cream she was quickly converted. Every dish I have had is amazing, though I have to admit that it is hard for me to go past the aforementioned curry or the satay, they are superb. It s great value, terrific food and the service is friendly. Give it a try.

RUDE RUDE RUDE
The service was terrible, and I was only getting a pick up. The head waitress pushed me out of the way at the door, then when placing my order she felt the need to interrupt and speak to anyone but me, including other staff and customers whom I assume were more important. When collecting my order I was pushed out the way in a very crowded restaurant by a waiter. Finally collecting my food I asked if I had received the 20% discount advertised all over the shop for pick ups. She assured me I did. I went outside and checked the menu, and of course I was charged full price. I am angry enough to write this but I know this restaurant won't suffer because it is always packed. However, the service is non-existent, the food mediocre at best and for all this you can be overcharged for the experience.
