It's not uncommon to pass by this tiny eatery on a cold winter's night and see many a hungry person huddled at the communal bench devouring a bowl of piping hot ramen noodles or a bowl of grilled eel with rice. While the decor is not flush, locals opine that a better example of tasty, clean and authentic Japanese peasant food is hard to find.
