Mimmo and Mary have been making pizzas in their original Brookvale restaurant since 1973 and after huge success there, expanded and opened restaurants at Mona Vale and Collaroy Plateau. The Brookie Special is still on the menu at all three eateries, and with mushroom, capsicum, pineapple, bacon and onion, and made with pride by Mimmo himself, it's still one of the most popular varieties on the menu.
There is a decent offering of vegetarian pizzas, and some spicy options for the heat lovers. Primarily a takeaway and delivery place (delivering anywhere between Manly and Avalon), all three of the eateries are bustling, friendly joints.
