Never fails
I have been a regular visitor for few years now and have to say I have never had an unpleasant experience. Service is courteous and sophisticated in general, but can sometimes be a bit slow if the restaurant is packed. But it is not a major as the food is suberb. Their green salad dressing is to die for, and if you are nice they might even share the secret. And they have a best cheese platter in Sydney. Everything is excellent.

Hard to fault
I'll admit I'm biased - when I finish at Milson's it's no more than a short stroll (or stagger) back to my bed, and I always find that knowing you can be snoozing five minutes after paying the bill enhances a meal.

But even taking that to one side, Milson's is hard to fault. The staff are friendly without being intrusive, the food is beautifully cooked. I have eaten here a lot, and the dishes range from the delicate and subtle to the robust, but they never disappoint.

The last time I visited was a "wine dinner" - a fixed price, fixed menu with wines to match. It was superb. I would recommend them.

And I guess the final test is that when I move - which is imminent - will I still visit? Undoubtedly. It's worth a taxi ride.
