Mill Bakehouse on Norfolk

The bustling, busy (but not hectic or crazy), lively vibe of this place says it all - so many happy punters can't be wrong, right? They all come to this Freo cafe for a reason, and that is reason is the great-value breakfasts including some good, healthy options like the banana bread and smoothies. Breakfast is served into well into the afternoon, so if you do have to wait for a table, never fear. The open grilled ham and cheese sandwich with baked beans and poached eggs is only for the truly hungry, and will set you up for whatever the day ahead brings.

Perfect
Not regulars to Freo, we chose this spot becuase it looked fresh, CLEAN and away from the busy-ness. Meals were very reasonable as well as tasty. They were busy, but the service was great, our coffees at the end were HOT and delicious. Sat outside with a view of the park accross the road. Would definitely vist again and recommend..

Really, really impressed
My companion has been going here for a while and finally convinced me to go here with her for breakfast. We arrived at 10am on a Tuesday. Mostly businessmen having a coffee as the breakfast rush would of finished earlier on. We ordered a Big Breakfast, Eggs Florentine & a single Pancake with bannana, strawberries, ice cream, cream & maple syrup on the side. All food was well presented and looked incredibly delicious. The eggs tasted like nothing I've ever tasted, fluffy and delicious. My partner was really impressed with the bacon & we fought over the pancake! The latte & hot chocolate went down well. All in all we were very impressed with the service, the food & the price. We will certainly return soon!
