A delicate renovation has given this grand old dame a new lease on life. Now it's at once contemporary and yet still steeped in tradition and old world grandeur.
The menu shows a similar union of old and new, with nostalgic touches like a scotch egg with HP sauce and caper relish sitting comfortably alongside more modern dishes like a slow-cooked smoked short rib with beetroot marmalade, cauliflower macaroni and fresh horseradish sauce.
