Mezzapica is a well-established Italian trattoria-style cafe with a menu that includes a series of popular daily specials. The cafe occupies a corner position overlooking Norton Street, making it a great place for a casual lunch and a spot of people-watching. There is a range of gelati displayed in all their various lollipop shades to tempt diners, or if your sweet tooth cannot be so easily satisfied, Mezzapica also has an Italian cake shop next door.

Good food, Great Location, terrible service for new comers.
This cafe is in a great location. Choc milkshakes are made with choc gelato, so they taste very different to normal - i didn't like it, so i left mine. Management didn't really care. No kitchen service after 3 o'clock was our welcome message. So we ordered banana bread. About five minutes later another couple arrived and order lunch and the "closed" kitchen made it and brought it to them in the under 25 minutes. Then I was bought my banana bread. It's a great cafe if you're friends with the staff, otherwise go elsewhere for good service.
