Melbourne Yacht Club Hotel


Quite literally making a splash on the Docklands dining scene, this swish restaurant and club bar and lounge sits on the lower deck, right on the water's edge. The scene is set for a romantic - or even just platonic - moment by the Yarra River, in anticipation of a fine food and wine experience. The seasonal modern-Australian-meets-Mediterranean menu concentrates on simple meat and seafood delicacies such as roasted scallops, braised wagyu beef tortellini, and 250g King Island eye fillet. Should you wish to enjoy a lighter nibble with a tipple at the adjoining bar, the bar snacks range from house-made sausages to steamed mussels to the special bar pie.
