Empty on a Friday night
Had read really good reviews for this restaurant on other sites. We arrived for our reservation on Friday night and there was no other diners in the restaurant after an earlier group left. Food was O.K.

Best Indian since we came from India
One of my best meals outside India. We had butter chichen, lamb saag, beef vindaloo and palak paneer. I must say all dishes were just exceptional and real Indian. Wonder why Indian cricket team was eating at Mehfil. Butter chicken: I think Mehfil is the only Indian restaurant which do not add suger. We travel all over India and had butter chicken all over but we never have sweet butter chicken. But here in down under almost every restaurant we ever been, their butter chicken always sweet. Thank you Mehfil chef, please stick to Indian-style not Aussie Indian sweet. We sure will be back with many friends.

Campbells tomato soup done Indian
Unmemorable. We tried 4 Mains and most were not good. The butter chicken was like Campbells tomato soup with curry and chicken. Vindaloo was hot but not tasty.
