The taste at Maya Da Dhaba is so far from the ubiquitous shop-front Indian, it almost seems like it's from an entirely different region. This is how Indian cooking is supposed to be done, with delicacy and care, and thankfully still at fast-food prices. There's a healthy mix of north and south dishes, with dishes ranging from goat masala to Malabar prawns, Goan fish curry to rogan josh, bhuna, makhani sauces and more. The chefs hail from New Delhi's luxurious Taj Palace hotel, and their skilled touches explain why Maya has remained popular since its opening in the early '90s. One of the area's gems.
