Everything about this winery restaurant is of a grand scale, from the giant lettering of the name scrawled across the entrance to the ambitious nature of the menu. It serves only three sittings per week, so profitability isn't the main objective here. Judging from the progressive nature of the menu, pushing on just might be.
Dishes like lamb shanks braised in goji berry tea with pumpkin, kale and black bean couscous give you a fair indication that a meal here isn't going to be your typical mod-Oz comfort zone lunch. To really get to the crux of the kitchen philosophy, opt for the quartet four-course menu paired with four estate wines.
