Matilda's Cafe and Pizzeria

I went to Matilda's for the first time tonight and loved every minute. I found out that it has recently changed hands and the new owner is fantastic. He came to our table and talked to us and made us feel very welcomed.
OK now the food, I had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone like you would expect, the dish in all was unbelievable. The chef has to take credit for this. The desert was to die for. Truly decadent...
The service was five star standard, attentive when I needed. They have some of the best staff in Perth.
To sum up, this is now the restaurant that I will go to when I want to feel like going home.
Well done, and I can't wait to see what will come next.

I have been here a number of times and the food is consistently good. Over time the portions have gotten smaller and the prices higher, but that still does not deter me from going back. The staff are friendly and always willing to help with an off the menu request.

I have been here a few times before and the food has always been outstanding. Traditional Italian-style food, which has always been fresh and tasty, with the atmosphere to match and great service. I was there with three young fussy Italian friends who also rate it quite highly. You really can't go wrong seafood, pasta and pizzas all at a good price. The desserts are all made on the premises; the panna cotta is my favorite.
