My first Japanese restaurant in Sydney CBD
Went to dinner here as I read some good reviews about how fresh the food is here. Was surprised to find the restaurant was in the basement of a building. However, I liked the atmosphere once I got in. Also the service was very attentative, they even have the name of your waitress on a card on your table. We ordered the luxury tower meal, $78 for three dishes, you can choose 3 out of 4 or 5 choices. We had the sushi, sashimi and the deep fried dish. Food was beautifully presented and the fish was fresh. I also ordered the hotpot (like shabushabu), however, did not think this was particularly special and they didn't have any sauce for dipping the meat into and the ingredients were very simple. Finally, we ordered the sake icecream for desert, it was okay, didn't quite taste the sake, probably would be better if they put the sake in the jelly that was under the icecream. Would I go back again? Not sure, there are so many other Japanese restaurants in Sydney, guess I'll have to try some more before I go back there. However, if there is a similar style Japanese restaurant in Melbourne like this I'll definitely go again!

Enjoyable Japanese Cuisine
Had a birthday party in this place and the food was great. The set menu is the way to go in every Japanese restaurant, I say. One suggestion, bring plenty of friends to this place, order different food and share them! You might miss a lot of nice food otherwise. You will definitely enjoy this restaurant if you are into Japanese food.
