While the atmosphere buzzes with activity and exudes inner city style, this bar and bistro is serious when it comes to providing efficient service, a fine selection of wines and high-quality bistro food that shoots above the average bar fare. Decked out in chic marble and wood panelling, the warm glow of the interior spills out onto the spacious outdoor courtyard of communal bar tables and stools. While these spots are great for swigs of cocktails with workmates, friends and dates, it's hard to go past owner Peter Wynne's collection of cellar-aged wines at their remarkably cheap prices.
