Amid the first batch of restaurants and cafes at the Sydney Uni end of Glebe Point Road, this humble Japanese restaurant gives you the choice of nibbling on sushi and sashimi, or really tucking into meaty and fishy specialties such as the wagyu steak and grilled rainbow trout. But it wouldn't be a Japanese restaurant without soups, and Maroo Japanese Seafood Restaurant has plenty of slurpy delights to savour, from miso soup, to seafood udon, to Nabeyaki beef udon and beyond.
