Margos

With so many different restaurants in the gargantuan Crown Complex all spruiking their own particular brand of fare, the choice can be a little overwhelming. Luckily, there's Margo's.

This casual seafood and steakhouse is fairly unique in its ability to provide topnotch produce without the pomp and ceremony often associated with such things. Yes, the seafood is fresh; doesn't mean you need the song and dance about it. Margo's is one to seek out when you need a break from the gaming floor but don't feel like putting on any airs.

Very enjoyable
We have eaten at Margos a lot of times now, and the food is always of very high quality. One of the reasons we eat here is that you don't need a booking, in fact you can't make a booking, so you go and sit by the bar for 5-20 minutes (depending on the time) and quite often just get straight in.

They offer a range of staples along with a variety of fresh meats and fish. We enjoyed a new seafood platter for two (surf & turf platter) which had a vast array of meat and seafood.

The atmosphere is good, although on the gaming floor, so not quiet. The service is good, they turn around the tables very quickly and you don't feel rushed. The dining area is a bit squashy, I think they should remove a few tables and space things out a bit more.

A great spot to eat before a movie or session on the gaming floor.
