Finally a real Italian restaurant came to town!!!
It was about time that we changed our attitude towards modern Italian cuisine and by that I mean that it's not only lasagne, tortellini or bolognese!!! It is much more and Mare Blue confirms it. As a person that has travelled a lot to Italy, I found that the dishes that I had at Mare Blue were equal and sometimes even better than the ones I had in Italy. This comes as no wonder given that the chef in newly arrived from Italy, where he was born and qualified as I learned from the very frienly and smiling staff. They definitely know what they are doing and I wish them all the best for their Mare Blue. The prices on the other hand are very reasonable both for the seafood, the entrees and all the rest. If you need any clarifications about the dishes or the wine that goes with them, the staff and the chef himself are more than happy to assist you. The atmosphere is very cosy and relaxed and gives you a very warm feeling.
