Marcellina


Marcellina's has been in Adelaide since 1969. The dining room has progressed beyond chequered tablecloths and cheap glasses, but the requisite hard surfaces and noisy dining room are still there. The food is stereotypical Italian, but don't be fooled by your assumptions. The pizza is arguably the best in Adelaide, and the garlic bread is delicious. Both are served piping hot to your table, with a crispy base and topped with the freshest of ingredients. A small range of gelati is on offer, and the sweets cabinet dips its hat in the direction of Greece.
