With executive chef and maestro of modern Australian cuisine Clement Wuthrich at the reigns of this fine dining beauty, the quality and taste of the fare is never in question. Utilising locally sourced ingredients (many from his personal garden), Wuthrich creates a sophisticated seasonal menu inspired by the wild yet seductive landscape which surrounds the restaurant.
The decor is elegant, with silver cutlery and white tablecloths, but the true centrepiece is the view - a panoramic landscape showing the granite spires of the mountains on one side and the beautiful Morton Bay and Brisbane skyline on the other. Gastronomic highlights include the entree of beef tenderloin carpaccio with extra virgin olive oil, fresh parmesan, cracked pepper and pan-fried mushrooms, and for main, the papillote of Moreton Bay snapper fillet on a bed of seasonal vegetables, fennel, saffron and Noilly Prat with kipfler potatoes.
