After learning their culinary skills the hard way, by actually working in the Malaysian stalls for which the restaurant is named, the Mamak boys are specialists in traditional roti canai. The menu is based around authentically fluffy, flaky roti, but also includes staples such as nasi lemak, ayam goreng and the (not nearly as tacky as it sounds) Maggi goreng - a variation of mee goreng using Maggi noodles. Desserts revolve around sweeter versions of roti, but no meal is really complete without the teh tarik - a sweet tea which is "stretched" by pouring it from a height to create froth.
