You may not be able to judge a book by its cover, but you can certainly judge an eatery by the line of die-hard fans that snake out its door. And come lunchtime, the door-snake at Malibu Sydney tells an obvious tale of tasty sandwiches that are worth the wait. The handful of seats don't make this spot particularly conducive to a dine-in meal at peak times, but it's not the atmosphere that locals seek; it's the enormous sandwiches. Offering almost every filling conceivable, along with a house-made mayonnaise, the menu items here could quite easily feed two peckish punters.
