Using only the freshest ingredients to create traditional sushi dishes on Edgecliff's busy New South Head Road is this polished Japanese restaurant. This place is a bit of a contradiction of terms in some ways. For one thing, the decor is refined and the dishes are made to order and served on quality ceramic plates. On the other hand, they do lunchtime special meal deals and the prices are more in line with your average pre-made-and-served-on-plastic-plates sushi trains than a fine dining restaurant.
Having said that, who's complaining? It's a nice and refreshing change to find a place that gives you the best of both worlds.
