Specialising in traditional southern Indian cuisine, this restaurant serves an aromatic variety of dishes using such classic ingredients as coconut, nutmeg, cardamom and pepper cloves. Staples such as plain and masala dosas are available, while the butter chicken and lamb madras are all-time favourites. A simple interior littered with occasional Indian baubles and modest prices mean it's popular among local families.

Nice food service a let down
went a couple of days ago for my birthday from a local recommendation.
the food was very nice but i felt the service let the place down two people at our table had finished & their plates were cleared whilst the other two were still eating which i think is a bit rude & then after the meal was cleared no one came near us to offer the dessert menu - we waited 15 minutes & so we left - the place wasn't crowded so its not as though anyone was waiting for the table so to not maximise profit by offering dessert and coffee & to rush the plate clearing before all had finished seems like a bad business move to me - i won't be recommending to others

Delicious food
Been here many times as I live a short walk away. The curries are fantastic but not very hot, even when ordering the hottest version of the vindaloo available. The place is usually full which is a good sign and the service very good. Highly recommended especially if you love mild curries.

Fantastic Birthday Dinner
We went for dinner here on my birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The food was great, we had the smorgasboard which was definitely the way to go. All we had to do was look in the waiters' direction and they were at our table, VERY different to most restaurants! Was a great night, and will definitely go back again!
