Boasting uninterrupted picturesque views of Westernport Bay, this family-owned cafe brings a touch of sophistication and a hint of quirkiness to southern Victoria. All the food is prepared fresh in-house, particularly the pastries, cakes and tarts, which seldom have time to even cool before a new batch is needed. The foccacia oven is another favourite for local customers, with the veggie foccacia (filled with marinated roast vegetables, spinach, pesto and bocconcini) a particular winner.
The breakfast menu is similarly committed to ethically sourced, quality food. The house-made baked beans have never even seen the inside of a can and every egg that comes out of the kitchen is free-range. An expansive selection of T2 teas are also available to enjoy on a relaxing afternoon watching the tide roll out.
