The owners of this vibrant eatery are making some big claims about their cuisine (which might raise a few eyebrows with those whose only experience of Mexican food is cheesy nachos) but they are justified in their confidence. Mad Mex works from the Baja ethos; it uses quality meats, fresh sauces and is actually healthy - well, certainly by comparison. Any expectations of fatty, greasy Tex Mex concoctions can be left at the door, as the Baja style combines traditional Mexican cuisine and hippie-style southern Californian sensibilities. The meals are prepared right in front of you, adding to the festive atmosphere - in conjunction with the bottle chandelier and the cheap margaritas.

Mouth-watering Mex more like it!
We have been here quite a few times over the last 3 months and have not been disappointed yet!
Some of the best Mexican I have eaten in Sydney!
It's great that you dont have to dine in a restaurant for Mexican food anymore. We love that you can order dine in take away and even sit and enjoy a beer with your burrito.
