Today's culinary letter of the day is "M." The letter "M" covers a variety of flavours and preparations, from "mushrooms" to "mash" and "marinated" to "modern". At the Mecure Sydney Parramatta's M Restaurant the food is modern Australian with plenty of delights starting with "M", such as MSA scotch fillet, mini caesar, and marinated lamb backstrap with kipfler potato, broccolini and gremolata.
However, this is not to say that the rest of the alphabet is neglected, with poached prawns accompanied by a mango and avocado salad; creamy cauliflower soup drizzled with white truffle oil; and grilled Atlantic salmon with pea puree, watercress salad and salmon roe dressing among the tantalising dishes on offer at this fresh and modern establishment. Whichever letter of the culinary alphabet piques patrons' appetites, M Restaurant is sure to have it covered. And that's not forgetting the most important gastronomic use of the letter "M" of course - a long and appreciative "Mmmmm!"
