The first of these little gems popped up in Newport in 1979 and it was so successful as a local hangout, family restaurant and meeting spot that the Lucky's and Pep's peeps soon expanded to Dee Why and Forestville. The secret to their success is not such a secret - good, honest pizzas and pastas and a friendly, relaxed and laidback spot to gather for a drink, a bite and a yarn. All three restaurants also deliver, and are hugely popular on those nights when leaving the house seems all a bit too much. All three eateries are northern beaches favourites.
