It may be one of the frontrunners in Sydney's new-found love affair with small wine bars but to say vino is all these guys do would be to sell them short. The limited but on-point food menu is much more than just a list of carbs to soak up some booze.
Under the direction of wine boffin Matt Swieboda (former sommelier at Quay) and culinary crusader Tim Webber (pan rattler at Sean's Panorama), Love, Tilly Devine has all the pedigree you could ask for. It's no surprise then to find a modern mix of nibbles and share plates that far surpass the usual token efforts of salami and cheese (both are still present, however, and come in the form of superb Pino's salami and a select few artisan antipodean cheeses).
The menu is best described as mod-Oz with Mediterranean leanings and varies based on daily market freshness rather than traditional seasonality. With this in mind expect it to change often and mostly for the better.
