Adding to the ever-growing number of small bars opening in Sydney's east, this latest one boasts just the right combination of rustic Mediterranean charm and urban boho-chic.
With its intimate lighting, touches of post-modernism and warm ochre tones, Lotforty just exudes underground appeal. The truncated tapas menu, although brief, ticks all the right boxes. The oven-baked scallops on the half shell with prosciutto and tapenade crust is just one of the many standouts.
There are already several small bars newly opened in the area, but when they're as good as Lotforty, who's complaining?
