If you're avid about your ale, you won't find a substandard beer in the house at this one-of-a-kind boutique brewery, bar and restaurant. The first boutique brewery in Australia, The Lord Nelson Brewery offers six in-house specialties, including the Quayle Ale summer ale for warm summery days, and the Old Admiral old ale, a full-bodied bitter beauty. Upstairs from the buzzing bar is the Lord Nelson Brasserie, where mod-Oz fare is served. Such morsels here may include the rabbit terrine with parma ham, the Himalayan-spiced fish curry, and to bring a little beer into it, pears poached in the brewery's Nelson's Blood Porter.
