With a few tables on the footpath, and window benches looking out onto the street, this is a prime spot for people-watching (or simply gazing into your coffee cup dreamily). The menu is a mix of Spanish, Portuguese and Western classics, with plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and those bewitching Friday night cocktail sessions.

Brunch- Spanish style
I had the French (Spanish?) toast. The Lorca version is a cinnamon-crusted brioche served with a poached pear, honey & yogurt. It was to die for. The tartness of the yogurt contrasted perfectly with the sweetness of the honey & the pear provided a healthy component. My friend had the tortilla served on a crusty baguette & reported it to be delicious. My black coffee was a little sharp, but my friend's latte got the thumbs up. The service was prompt, if a little brusque & sometimes it was hard to attract a waiter's attention. I keep dreaming about the French toast, so I'll definitely be going back.
