Brothers Chris, Matthew and Tim Barge are the driving force behind this revamped restaurant - a fusion of old and new. Working tirelessly, the boys cater to midday long lunchers and late night revellers with equal aplomb.
The decor in the restaurant blends the historic elements of the building perfectly with more modern details. The vintage polished timber bar stands out from the stainless-steel bar stools and tiled floors. The homage to the building's former incarnation as an adult bookstore - a feature wall of vintage porn - may not suit everyone's tastes, but it's a signal of the new lifeblood flowing into this once stagnating area.
