Converted from a boatshed/croc farm, this huge tin shed in Freo's Fishing Boat Harbour is now home to a different animal altogether - the Little Creatures Brewery. This 'cellar door' bar and restaurant serves their award-winning craft beers straight from the conditioning tanks and diners can watch the beer being made from their table. There's even a view of the bottling line from the gents' toilets. Great wines, soft drinks and coffees are also available at the bar, while the kitchen is open all day, serving rustic-style nosh, woodfired pizzas, and an extensive range of tapas dishes. The best way to experience this fine fare is to share, and with more than 300 seats inside, a sweeping shady alfresco area out front and a courtyard facing the marina at the back, there's plenty of room to invite along a few extra friends. Drink in the chilled industrial vibe and perhaps take a moment to muse over the gallery of local artworks on the upper level.

They have killed it!!
Little Creatures had something special, but I think they have killed it off.
What used to be pallet and casual style seating out the front has now been replaced with meticulous table seating (only) for dining. The very fremantle and bohemian vibe is nowhere to be found...I used to love showing interstate and international visitors what Creatures had to offer, but now... MEH!

I'll be back for more
I was introduced to Little Creatures beer on a recent trip and so glad we made it into the bar. Fantastic! Loved the food, loved the friendly staff (far from the botique beer snobs I was expecting!), and loved the venue. We'll be heading back WA way soon, and I'll be making it a priority to include another visit to Little Creatures

Unhappy creature!
We have been living in Perth for over a year now and visit Little Creatures on a regular basis. My partner's boss recommended Little Creatures to us in Jan last year. We absolutely love the bar and restaurant but within the last two visits the service has been appalling. Last night my partner and I were asked to pay for our meal on ordering which is very unwelcoming, then we were approached to pay a second time when we had finished our meal which to us is very unprofessional. The staff were really unhelpful and I hate to complain as i have waitressed myself. We asked for water twice it didnt come. My partner had to leave the dinner to get it himself. We couldn't get tartar sauce with our fish and my partner had to open the pepper shaker himself after our waitress couldn't put pepper on our dinner.
The food is usually beautiful and the drinks are always top quality but for the expense the service let us down. We are really upset with this and I do think it would be in your best interest to improve.

A must if in Freo
This was the highlight our our trip to Perth! The service was outstanding with the friendliest staff I've ever come across. The atmosphere was fabulous - from locals, to tourists, to families, to young ones out & about. They have something for everyone & I cannot say enough about it. I can't wait to go back there! You must visit this brilliant place if visiting Fremantle - even if you're not in Freo, make the effort to go to Little Creatures!

Long Sunday session
What a great place! We spent about six hours here grazing on the pizzas, great salads and bowls of fries. The beers are tasty and there is enough variety for everyone. For non-beer-drinkers the wine list is decent too. A must visit when in Freo.

Great beer, great atmosphere!
One of the more tourist-type destinations to eat due to the award winning beers of LCB, however that does not mean it's a no-go-zone for locals - it's a great place!
Delicious food especially the pizzas, and the atmosphere is, as would be expected, a little noisy but very lively and welcoming.
Wheelchair access: * Flat entrance and throughout, apart from the mezzanine floor (very, very sadly!) * wheelchair accessible toilet with a large table in there for changing babies... if you need extra circulation space ask staff to remove the table - I believe it shouldn't be in there to begin with! * accessible parking is limited, but all bays in City of Freo carparks are free if you have an easy access parking permit.
