This "little bird" proffers a cornucopia of delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours. Occupying a cosy space in Melbourne's Ascot Vale, Little Byrd pleases with its Arabic-lilted offerings, such as avocado on Turkish bread with a squeeze of lemon and a small smattering of zaatar. There's also a selection of baguettes and sweet treats, such as carrot cake and doughnuts, on offer.
