Great Tapas and half price Tuesday!
We were impressed with the Tapas and really enjoyed the variety, we ended up ordering too much food but the price was excellent. Overall it was a good experience and we will gladly return.

Great Tapas
My wife & I arrived at 8pm on a Tues night. We were keen to come here as it was 1/2 price tapas night, but we almost turned away when we saw that there was not one person in the restaurant when the 2 either side were buzzing. The staff also didn't seem too interested in seating us. But we decided to give it a go anyway. It was a glorious night so we sat outside and had a lovely view of the dock and the passing pedestrian traffic. Even though we were the only ones there the atmosphere was still quite vibrant due to the 2 restaurants either side. We ordered the bread & Persian fetta, calamari, chorizo, meatballs, empanadas and saganaki. All were terrific, and we struggled to finish it all. Wines were good value, and the service friendly if a little inattentive given the lack of patrons (a couple turned up when we were nearly finished). Overall we were very satisfied with our experience at Liquid. A great meal, a beer and 4 glasses of wine all for $70 is tremendous value. I just can't understand why they wouldn't have a sign out the front letting people know about the 1/2 price tapas. Also the name lends itself more to a bar/nightclub so a lot of people looking for a meal would likely walk right by. But we would certainly recommend it for anyone after some good quality tapas (particularly on 1/2 price Tuesdays).

Nice place - tapas great but that's about it
The three of us went for a quick dinner. We started with the tapas which were fantastic. We had the calamari, empadas and beef meatballs. Next came our mains. One of us had the rib eye, one had the open steak sandwich and I had the lamb rack. The ribeye had fat and grisle all around it, the steak on the steak sandwich was burnt and tough and also had a big thick grisle through it. The lamb was juicy and tender but the snow peas served with it were tasteless. Not one of us finished our main course.
