The name says it all; it conjures vivid images of home-cooked nostalgia and indulgent decadences all at once. It's this kind of approach that makes Lickmyspoon such a welcome addition to Ascot's cafe scene.
The menu is succinct but well-designed, revolving around classic cafe fare, good coffee and fresh juice. The motto here is to do fewer things and do them exceptionally well and, thus far, it appears to be a recipe for success.
