Named after a song from Giuseppe Verdi's opera La traviata, which celebrates love, life and drinking wine, Libiamo creates its own sensuous sonata out of its regional Northern Italian dishes, predominantly from Emilia-Romagna, where owner Loris Ragazzi is from.
Thriving on simplicity, authenticity and a bit of good ol' Italian innovation, this restaurant does pasta, pizza, steak, lamb and seafood dishes with rustic flair. All the pasta dishes are home-made and include such flavours as pumpkin and amaretti filled tortellini in sage butter, pappardelle with porcini and truffle oil, tagliatelle with lamb ragu and passatelli with king prawns, cherry tomatoes and marjoram.
Pizza devotees might need a few moments to decide from an illustrious selection of options, including gluten-free pizzas at an extra cost. While Libiamo's red-painted walls and mood lighting make it an intimate spot for an evening rendezvous, diners can have pizzas delivered right to their doorsteps too.

Surprising star
