Following a string of success with their takeaway stores, Lee's has finally decided to expand with this new dine-in venture in the heart of Sydney's CBD.
Formerly residing in the domain of food courts and takeaways, the hugely popular Lee's brand now calls dine-in home with their latest restaurant. Down a small flight of stairs overlooking the hot food counter (takeaways are still abundantly available, of course) and around the corner, the white-tile and wooden bench decor is minimalist but clean and inviting.
Although only recently opened, on any given day you can walk into this place to see countless suits with their heads bent over steaming bowls of noodle soups and rice dishes. The king prawn laksa is a highlight from the menu, with a nice amount of heat, giving it that touch of authenticity.
