With its vibrant flavours and contemporary fusion of different Asian cuisines, Le Resto is a welcome addition to the sleepy suburb of Lane Cove.
Thai is the specialty here but expect to see plenty of borrowed styles from neighbouring cuisines. Pork and prawn dim sims are straight out of the classic Chinese cooking playbook and ditto for the tempura vegies on the Japanese side of things, but when they're this tasty you'll hear few complaints. Thai food purists are spoilt for choice with tom yum goong, pad thai, pad see ew and crying tiger grilled beef making up the bulk of this solid menu.
