The greatest testament to the quality of this cafe, as strange as it sounds, is its location. Perched on one of the steeper parts of Foveaux Street, this cafe is not ideally placed, yet it always has a steady flow of customers braving the hostile terrain for its coffee and fare.
Perhaps it's the menu of newly appointed chef Chris Merrick (of Oscillate Wildly fame) or the gourmet Toby's Estate tea and seriously good Five Senses coffee, but suddenly that steep climb doesn't seem so daunting anymore.
