Le Kiosk

Overlooking Shelly Beach, the views from both the indoor and garden tables at Le Kiosk are lovely. Try one of the many seafood dishes that dominate the contemporary menu or enjoy a drink from the bar. Available on weekends only, the seafood platter for two is the perfect dish to complement the great ocean views, or there are some more interesting dishes available, often with a Middle Eastern slant. Open for lunch and dinner with private rooms available.

Bit of a rip
The place has a nice setting but the food is not good value for money. I had the prawns an an entree, $25 for 4 prawns and half a lemon. The main wasnt much better, $35 for pan fried fish with a handful of salad greens and a small amount of vanilla flavoured mashed potato. I could have made better myself. On top of that they gave us the wrong wine and the mains took an hour to come out. Am sure there must be better dining options at Manly.

Just fantastic
I attended a wedding on Shelly Beach on the weekend and the reception was held upstairs at Le Kiosk. It was fanatstic. The venue was beautifully set up, the view was fantastic, the atmosphere just perfect, the staff where friendly whilst doing a great job and the food was yummy.

That combined with good company and a wonderful occassion made for a fantastic weekend away.

Flavours...
Dining in Sydney is almost always enjoyable but every now and again, at restaurants like Glass (at The Hilton) and here at Le Kiosk, you find a chef who creates flavours that mark them out as different. Try the scallops seared in aniseed. Sounds weird, tastes amazing.

Exceeded our expectations
I recently held my wedding at Le Kiosk, and I couldn't be happier with the effort everyone put in. From the onset Eizabeth catered to our very whim. Chef Corey Costelloe sat down with us and planned the most fantastic menu. Everything was delicious, so so impressive. We held our ceremony over by the ocean, then walked over to the restaurant and had champers and canapes. We then went upstairs and enjoyed Corey Costelloe's well thought out, beautifully presented food, while watching the sunset over the water. He even designed and made our wedding cake.
The whole day was perfect, thankyou to all involved.
