You don't come to Le Croissant on The Cove to do breakfast. You do petit dejeuner, and you do it in style, just like the French, with pampered pooch in tow (if you have one). Instead of a cup, you are served a bowl of coffee or hot chocolate for dipping croissants. Choose one of the pastries and breads baked daily by French pastry chef Frank Maurice at Le Croissant's kitchen in The Hills. Having trained at the Maison Bordalon in the art of French baking, he has given many Perthites their first real taste of France. Perhaps his most commendable work - certainly the most artistic - is the petit gateau range, suggestively named Delice of Wild Forest, Mille Feuilles, Gateau Aux Passions and Succes Au Praline.
