Like having a direct line to Beirut, a visit to Laytani Lebanese Cuisine & Cafe puts you right in touch with the distinctive and authentic flavours of Lebanese cuisine. Even the breakfasts are totally traditional, like the masa baha (chickpeas in garlic, lemon sauce or tahini), or the shanklish (dried yoghurt with diced tomatoes and onions). Later in the day, the lunch and dinner menus cover more familiar territory, featuring shish kebabs, mixed grills, sojuk (peppered sausage) and a special vegetarian mixed plate. Adding that extra bit of authenticity, Laytani lets you enjoy the pleasures of the arguileh (the popular smoking waterpipe or "hookah").
