What could possibly top a summer afternoon kicking back at a waterfront pub and getting down some serious gorging? Doing so in style... That's what the owners of the Largs Pier Restaurant hope anyway. They've done up the ground floor of the Largs Pier Pub, which has rich history with Adelaide's rock 'n' roll scene, and transformed it into a modern dining establishment.
The Pier Restaurant now offers a fine-dining experience within the familiar surrounds of the traditional pub - though with glistening glasses, linen napkins and timber furniture, there's no skimping on style,.
Head Chef Kym Patterson crosses the continents in the kitchen, creating a menu with influences stretching from the Mediterranean to Asia. An impressive wine list complements such delightful dishes as barbecued octopus with haloumi-laced salad and chilli dressing. Atlantic salmon with orange crust; a lion of lamb with pearl barley risotto and such sweet treats as peanut butter ice cream make for a menu worthy of a lengthy perusal.
