Classic, traditional Italian is the focus at this popular Elsternwick eatery. The pasta, including some pretty darn good gnocchi, is all handmade in-house, and on Wednesday nights you can get a pasta dish and a glass of wine for a discount price.
The pizzas are also winners with the locals, as are mains like the scalloppine e funghi (pan-fried veal, mushrooms, white wine and a dash of cream), and the Valentino (pan-fried chicken breast, bacon, mushrooms and avocado in a cream and white wine sauce). A modern space and friendly vibe complete the look to make this a favourite with locals in the 'wick.
