The highly modernised Fairfield RSL is an appropriate home for this elegant diner, which should be of some relief to south-western suburbs foodies who are used to driving far for a fully fledged quality feast. While the weekly specials are worth watching out for, more steady mains like 300g dry-aged TerraRossa rib-eye beef, White River veal medallions, and the house-made lasagne are just as enticing. Each and every entree and main has a suggested matching wine, reflecting the care taken on all gustatory fronts at La Tratt.
