Expect the unexpected on the service front...
While food, wine and feel are quite exceptional, the staff's attitude and service quality have definitely major improvement potential... frankly, we have experienced an attitude, which one would not expect from such an establishment. It is one thing to hurry and indicate that you are busy (e.g. another seating coming). It is quite another thing, however, to dish up desserts for $15 and subsequently (borderline with immediately, e.g. within ten minutes) ask the party of 8 to leave... It appears they forgot their second seating (who was apparently waiting at the bar at the time) when excitedly taking the desert and coffee order.
A (more) professional and service-oriented restaurant would have suggested to have desserts in the beautiful bar area and/or advised not having desserts, rather than making the money as such.
In short, nice place - food, feel and wine-wise. If you are after a relaxing and less pressured experience, I do suggest, however, not going there as the service and staff attitude have significant improvement potential. I usually don't do reports, however, I felt obliged to inform others about our unexpected experience so that you are more prepared for expecting the unexpected. It may also offers the guys a chance to change the way they approach issues and re-focus on food and feel, rather than ego and dollars.
