This simple cafe is a bit of a secret sanctuary, but with earnest fans singing its praises, it's getting tough to keep this reticent little eatery out of the limelight. The weekday menu is refreshingly basic - just excellent coffee and doorstop sandwiches made to order. Little Latino touches shake things up later in the week with churros, empanadas on Fridays and hot South American dishes on Saturdays.

the coffee is too much. too much yuppies. service so so. rest is good.

my favourite spot
My favourite breakfast in Brunswick. The baked eggs are simply fantatsic. The coffee is strong.! The foosball table is screaming out to my infant nephew all through breakfast. This is how traditions come about..in a little room, with lovely food, with a fantastic atmospehere in a completely origional space.. La Paloma-Saturday morning.
